Is this pipe New?   UnSmoked?  In Pristine Shape?   NO     So why would I think you might enjoy having what some Smokers would call this "Knock Around" Pipe?   Because it offers you a smoke that is very hard to find in a pipe with a price tag of less than $400!  Even then, as you know, you still might not get a better smoking experience. In the 1950s Stanwell used some very fine quality in their Choice of Briar. It was old Briar then. Now, it has had another half century to age. Also it is a little bit rare, not many out there available
