7 Star grade Amorelli's are very hard to find

Amorelli Pipes

Amorelli pipes are made in a small village just outside the city of Caltanisseta, in the center of Sicily. Salvatore (Toto) Amorelli is the inventive genius who heads the small artisan workshop made up of three young lads he trained from the start.

Each finish or grade is named for something special pertaining to Sicily- a town, a river, a volcano, etc. Each Amorelli pipe is also stamped with the ancient symbol of Sicily, the "trinacria" (triangle), with the three points representing the three capes of the island

All Amorelli pipes in the smooth finish are unstained and have no interior bowl coating. Pipes that are hand-carved or sandblasted have no interior bowl coating.

A unique feature of the Amorelli brand is that each mouthpiece, although made of the traditional metacrillato, sports a Delran tenon. Therefore it is all but impossible to break a tenon, causing the pipe to be unusable.
