Collection. [The highest grade all smooth ‘standard’ series]: The Collection series is graded on grain with a 4k piece being the highest graded ‘standard’ Castello available. The collection series is usually used on only straight grained Pipes with the BEST BRIAR!

  

This Fine pipe is Aprox. 5.5IN. Long     Bowl is 2/1/4IN. High  and 1/13/16IN. Wide   Chamber is 7/8IN.
     
Greatline. Reserved for special Castello pipes, usually freestyle pieces, but once in a while hand worked standard shapes. The Greatline stamp was once used for only all smooth Collection and above models, but currently is used on all finishes, including Sea Rocks

Castello pipes pipes would take Carlo Scotti from a tiny artisan studio and anonymity, to a state of the art production facility and the peak of the Italian pipe world. Every Castello pipe is completely hand made, from start to finish, from the finest available briar and has a hand cut Lucite stem. Castello is the only make that uses briar that has been aged for 10 years. The Castello pipe is considered by many smokers to be the world's greatest and most consistent smoking pipe.
