"Talamona is an old Italian brand from Oltrona di Gavirate, Varese, in Northern Italy. It was founded in 1929 by Cornelio Talamona that had a small manufacture and created the brand. With only 15 years, his son Cesare Talamona began working in pipes and in 1945 he began directing the business, what he did with the help of his sons till 2000 when his wife died.
During the last years Cesare Talamona made only few custom pipes.

This pipe was made in the late 70s; maybe early 80s. Its price then was about the same as a CHARATAN SELECTED!
